Between the Sibillini and the Adriatic, Le Marche remains one of Italy’s last unhurried regions. Sileni Hills — 21 apartments in a restored historic residence near Macerata, a base for slow living, cycling, walking and the region’s food and wine.
01
Choose your season
Spring rides through the hills, summer evenings by the sea, autumn harvests, winter silence. Every month in Le Marche has its own rhythm.
02
Choose your apartment
Twenty-one individual apartments, each with its own character. Book the one that fits how you want to experience the place.
03
Live the region
Walks, vineyards, hilltop villages, wellness and long tables. Not a checklist of sights, but a way of being here.
Twenty minutes from the Adriatic beaches, an hour from the Monti Sibillini National Park. Macerata, Recanati and a dozen hilltop villages sit within a short drive — Le Marche keeps everything close without ever feeling crowded.
Arrive with a plan, or without one
Road and gravel routes from the door, marked trails into the mountains, cellars and olive mills that open for visits. We map the region for you and leave the pace entirely up to you.
A historic residence, brought back to life among the hills
Sileni Hills grows out of an existing building and an existing landscape. The restoration follows what was already there — stone, wood, lime, the original openings — rather than imposing something new on the hillside above Petriolo.
Around the residence is a network of people we work with: winemakers, olive growers, cheesemakers, guides. The retreat is the starting point; the region is the destination.
